Macarons!

Last week our colleague from Denver, Kathy, visited us. It was her first time in Paris and she was travelling alone so we tried our best to make her feel at home. We had two nice nights out and several lunch breaks. She just loved Paris. She visited all the "must see" from the Louvre, to Musée d'Orsey, to the Eifell Tower. She even bought some Eiffel Tower's key chains and some macarons from the very expensive patisserie La Durée! Unfortunately these delicious French delicatesses never made it to Denver. They were stopped at Charles de Gaulle's airport where some "too" efficient costums agents confiscated them from Kathy because there filled with cream! What a bunch of fuckers!! I agree that cream can kill you especially if you are diabetic but I don't see any "terroristic danger" in a macaron! The only reason behind this "legal robber" it's that they wanted to fill their stomach!! And as wishfull thinking I hope that these " so stick to the rules" agents will have the worst attack of nausea ever and regret to have improperly taken a Parisian souvenir from a poor turist!!
