Out of Africa

In the diaspora
he sat down;
And there he wept;
Remembering Africa;
Mouth open, unable to a song.
Eyes full of the ocean;
Mouth imploded with praises;
Thought stacked full of memories,
Memories of Motherland Africa.
In bits he uttered;
Africa, my cherised home;
In the diaspora unable to a song;
I want to come to thee.

WOW! Thank-you for the beautiful words! Africa truly is a special place. We are fortunate enough to have been born on this vast continent. When non-Africans come to this land and gasp over her beauty, we Africans only then truly appreciate the continent that we live on! We are lucky to have all this space and of course the weather is so beautiful! We get snow in Johannesburg only once in 26 years! So many languages are spoken, so many cultures present, we are truly blessed in our land South Africa. There is a slogan, I quote: "South Africa, alive with possibility"
